Getting to & From the New York Airports
Taxis are at every Airport. Make sure you go to the taxxi stands. In some cases we were approached by a well dresse person who offered private car service. There were four of us and a lot of luggafe. Since he said he had the vehicle suitable for us and our luggage. We said yes. Big mistake. The charge was excessive and the vehicle was not good. So we went with him because we were feeling committed!. DON’T it’s a scam!
Always use the recognized systems.

Walking is fine but if this is your only plan then you don’t fully understand the size of this big city. 1.6 million people live here and on a business day this jumps to nearly 4 million.
Trains run underground and move a lot of people. Go see Grand Central Railway station. It’s fantastic. A beautiful building and alive with people coming and going. As tourists we found this to be too big a job. By the time we worked out the routes and schedules it would waste too much of our time.
